Physical and Chemical Properties Chemical properties dark red powder. Insoluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol, soluble in benzene, toluene, xylene, chlorobenzene, chloroform and DMF and other organic solvents. The fluorescent red solution in each solvent is bright blue green in concentrated sulfuric acid, and the fluorescent blue red fluffy precipitate is produced after dilution, which is red and yellow in alkaline sodium hydrosulfite solution and light yellow in acidic solution.
Use Uses fluorescent red 5B is mainly used for coloring of various plastics, such as polystyrene, polycarbonate, ABS resin, acetate fiber and so on. It can also be used for the coloration of polyester fiber.

Vat red 41 is a synthetic organic dye also known as bromophenol red. Its chemical name is 2-hydroxy-1-[(2Z)-2-(4-nitroaniline)-2-enyl]benzoazo-3-one.

Vat Red 41 is a red powdered dye that is soluble in water, ethanol and ether solvents. It has good stability to light and is not easy to fade. In acidic conditions, it has a vivid red color, while in alkaline conditions it appears brownish-yellow. This dye shows good hydrophilicity and fibrophilic properties and can be used to dye fibrous materials such as textiles and leather.

Vat Red 41 has a wide range of applications. Due to its brilliant colors and good light stability, it is widely used in textiles, paper, plastics, coatings and inks. Vat red 41 is also used as a biological dye and fluorescent probe for microscopic examination of cells and tissues.
