Physical and Chemical Properties Chemically colorless to yellowish oily transparent liquid with a strong coconut aroma. Boiling point 243 ℃, flash point greater than 100 ℃. Soluble in ethanol, propylene glycol, most non-volatile oils and mineral oils, almost insoluble in glycerin, insoluble in water. Natural products are found in peaches, apricots, tomatoes, rum and fried barley.
Use Uses GB 2760 a 96 for the temporary permission of the use of edible spices. Mainly used in the preparation of coconut, milk and milk fat flavor. GB 2760-1996 provides for the permitted use of flavorants. Mainly used for the preparation of citrus fruit flavor.
