slightly green yellow powder with density of 1.30-1.66g/cm3. Bright color, fluorescent in plastic. Soluble in butanol and xylene and other organic solvents, good heat resistance, but poor migration resistance, heat-resistant temperature up to 180 ℃.
Use there are 64 types of this product. Color light ratio C.I. Pigment Yellow 12, Pigment Yellow 14 green light is stronger, the same depth light fastness is 1-2 higher than Pigment Yellow 14, but the color intensity is low (1/3SD, pigment yellow 17 need 7.5% concentration, pigment Yellow 14 3.7%). For printing ink, the color light can be adjusted by pigment yellow 83, giving excellent light resistance and transparent intermediate color tone (Irgalite yellow 2GP specific surface area is 58 m2/g); For packaging printing ink (such as nitrocellulose and polyamide, polyethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer coupling material); For Polyolefin (220-240 ℃) coloring, in polyvinyl chloride/vinyl acetate preparation, with good dispersion; For PVC film and pulp coloring, electrical properties can meet the requirements of PVC cable

Introduction

Pigment Yellow 17 is an organic pigment also known as Volatile Yellow 3G. The following is an introduction to its nature, use, preparation method and safety information:

Quality:

- Pigment Yellow 17 has a bright yellow color with good hiding power and high purity.

- It is a relatively stable pigment that does not fade easily in environments such as acids, alkalis and solvents.

- Yellow 17 is volatile, i.e. it will fly out gradually under dry conditions.

Use:

- Yellow 17 is widely used in paints, plastics, glues, inks and other fields to make yellow pigments and colorants.

- Due to its good opacity and brightness, Yellow 17 is commonly used for coloring printing, textiles and plastic products.

- In the field of art and decoration, yellow 17 is also used as a pigment and colorant.

Method:

- Yellow 17 pigments are usually made by chemical synthesis.

- The most common synthesis method is to synthesize yellow 17 pigment using diacetyl propanedione and cuprous sulfate as raw materials.

Safety Information:

- Yellow 17 pigment is relatively safe under normal use conditions, but care should still be taken to prevent inhalation and contact with eyes and skin.

- When in use, follow proper safety operating procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, gloves, etc.

- During storage and handling, contact with oxidants, acids, high temperatures and other substances should be avoided to avoid dangerous reactions.
