Physical and Chemical Properties Colorless to yellowish brown liquid. It has a black currant-like aromatic flavor. is a mixture of various stereoisomers. Boiling point 62 ℃(13.3Pa), optical rotation [α] D20 transbody -32 (in methanol), cis 40 (in methanol). Insoluble in water, soluble in alcohol.
Use GB 2760-1996 provides for the permitted use of food flavors. Mainly used for grape, mint, raspberry, tropical fruit, peach and other flavors.
