Introduction

Isoamyl formate.

Quality:

Isoamyl formitate is a colorless liquid with a strong fruity aroma.

Use:

Isoamyl formitate is an important raw material for organic synthesis.

Method:

Isoamyl formate can be obtained by the reaction of isoamyl alcohol and formic acid. Typically, isoamyl alcohol is reacted with formic acid under acid-catalyzed conditions to produce isoamyl formate.

Safety Information: It can cause eye and skin irritation, direct contact with skin and eyes should be avoided when touched, and rinsed with water promptly. Personal protective equipment such as gloves and protective eyewear is required during use. Avoid contact with fire sources to prevent fire or explosion.
