Introduction
Malic ester is an organic compound.
Apple ester is also used as a raw material in solvents, coatings, plastics, and fiber products.
A common method for the preparation of malic esters is the esterification of malic acid and alcohol by acid catalysts. During the reaction, the carboxyl group in the malic acid combines with the hydroxyl group in the alcohol to form an ester group, and the apple ester is formed under the action of the acid catalyst.
The following safety information should be noted in the use of apple ester:
1. Apple ester is an organic compound, which is a flammable liquid, avoid contact with open flames and high temperatures.
2. Avoid skin contact, causing irritation or allergic reactions. Gloves and protective glasses should be worn when using.
3. Apple ester has a strong odor, and long-term exposure may cause uncomfortable symptoms such as dizziness, nausea, and difficulty breathing, and a well-ventilated environment should be maintained.
4. Apple ester is only used for industrial use, it is forbidden to take it internally or in direct contact with the skin.
5. When using applelate, please refer to the relevant safety data sheet and follow the instructions for use.
