FMOC-D-ALLO-ILE-OH (CAS# 118904-37-3)
N-fluorene methoxycarbonyl-D-allisoleucine, is an amino acid derivative. Its properties are as follows:
Appearance: Fmoc-allisoleucine is a white or yellowish crystalline powder.
Solubility: It has good solubility in organic solvents such as dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) and methylene chloride.
Solid-phase synthesis: It is usually used as a raw material for solid-phase synthesis of polypeptides, and polypeptide chains are constructed by the continuous addition of other amino acids.
Research uses: It is commonly used to study areas such as protein structure, function, and interactions.
The preparation method of FMOC-allisoleucine mainly includes the following steps:
N-fluorenylmethionine is reacted with activators such as dithioethylcarbamate and N,N’-dicyclohexylcarbodiimide to obtain N-fluorenylmethoxycarbonyl-D-allisoleucine.
At the end of the reaction, separation and purification are carried out to obtain the target product.
May have an irritating effect on the respiratory system and skin, and appropriate precautions such as wearing respirators and protective gloves should be taken during operation.
Avoid contact with eyes and skin, and rinse immediately with plenty of water if contact occurs.
Follow proper laboratory practices to ensure adequate ventilation and follow laboratory safety protocols. Please refer to the Safety Data Sheets of the relevant chemicals if necessary.
