Introduction
1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol divinyl ether, also known as cyclohexane diethylene glycol ether, is an aliphatic hydrocarbon glycol ether.Properties: 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol divinyl ether has low volatility, good solubility and relatively low viscosity. It is an inert solvent with good affinity for many organic substances. It exhibits good stability in most organic reactions and is able to extend the temperature range of the reaction system.Uses: 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol divinyl ether is mainly used as a solvent in organic synthesis, especially suitable for hydrogenation reaction, oxidation reaction and alkylation reaction. It can also be used as a coordination agent for magnesium-based catalysts and metal silane reducing agents.Preparation method: 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol divinyl ether is usually prepared by the reaction of cyclohexane and ethylene oxide under alkaline conditions. It is a flammable substance and should be kept away from open flames and high temperatures. When handling, contact with the skin, eyes, and respiratory tract should be avoided. During use, appropriate ventilation measures should be taken to ensure the safety of the operating environment. In case of accidental leakage, remove it immediately and dispose of it properly.
