Introduction

Z-D-allo-Ile-OH . DCHA (Z-D-allo-Ile-OH · DCHA) is an organic compound and a reagent for protecting amino acids. The following is a description of its nature, use, formulation and safety information:

Nature:

-Chemical formula: C23H31NO5

-Molecular weight: 405.50g/mol

-Appearance: White crystalline solid

-Melting point: 105-108°C

-Solubility: Soluble in organic solvents such as acetone, ether, dichloromethane, insoluble in water.

Use:

- Z-D-allo-Ile-OH . DCHA is a reagent used to protect amino acids. By introducing a Cbz group on the amino group of an amino acid, accidental alteration of the amino group in a chemical synthesis reaction can be prevented.

-It is often used in peptide synthesis, especially for the synthesis of peptide sequences with special structures or activities.

Preparation Method:

- Z-D-allo-Ile-OH. The preparation of DCHA usually starts from D-isoleucine, and then reacts with Cbz anhydride for esterification to introduce Cbz protecting group. Finally, DCHA (dichloroformic acid) is reacted with the amino acid to form the corresponding salt.

Safety Information:

- Z-D-allo-Ile-OH . DCHA is less toxic, but should be handled with caution. Avoid contact with skin and eyes, wear protective gloves and glasses if necessary.

-During use, standard laboratory operating procedures should be followed and appropriate ventilation equipment should be used.

-When storing, keep the compound in a dry, cool place away from sources of fire and open flames.
