Introduction
N-BOC-4-pentyn-1-amine is an organic compound with N-protecting group (N-Boc) and pentyne (4-pentyn-1-aminohexane) groups in its chemical structure.
N-BOC-4-pentyn-1-amine is a white to pale yellow solid that is solid at room temperature. It is soluble in common organic solvents such as methylene chloride, dimethylformamide, and chloroform, and has relatively low solubility in water. Among them, the N-Boc protective group, N-BOC-4-pentyn-1-amine, has good stability, which can prevent it from non-specific side reactions in some chemical reactions.
N-BOC-4-pentyn-1-amine has a wide range of applications in organic synthesis. It can be used as a starting point for the synthesis of other organic compounds, such as those used in the preparation of other pentaryne groups. In addition, N-BOC-4-pentyn-1-amine can also be used as a reagent to play the role of a catalytic or protective group in some organic synthesis reactions.
