pharmachologic effect

Indacaterol is an ultra-long-acting β-adrenergic receptor agonist. It selectively binds to β₂ adrenergic receptors, activates the receptors, and relaxes the smooth muscles of the airways, thereby dilating the bronchi, increasing airway ventilation, and relieving symptoms of airway obstruction. This effect can last for a longer period of time and can provide patients with a long-lasting bronchodilated effect.
Clinical application
Indications: It is suitable for maintenance therapy of adult patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Dosage form and specification: 150μg for inhaler, 110μg/50μg for capsule, etc. There are also indacaterol maleate inhalation powder aerosol, indacaterolone bromide inhalation powder aerosol, etc.
Dosage: For example, inhaled powder hard capsules should be used at the same time as a NEOHALER inhaler, 1 time per day, with an inhalation volume of 75μg.
