Method:
It can be prepared by the following reaction:
-First, 3-picoline reacts with sodium chloride in the presence of sodium carbonate to produce 2-methyl-3-chloropyridine.
-Then, 2-methyl -3-chloropyridine reacts with ammonia in a carbonate buffer solution to generate a pyridine.
