N-trifluoroacetimidazole. It has the following properties:

N-trifluoroacetimidazole is mainly used in the field of organic synthesis and is often used as a hydrofluorate formation reagent for organic compounds. It can be used to generate different compounds containing trifluoroacetyl groups, such as ketones and alcohols, enol ethers and esters.

The preparation methods of N-trifluoroacetamidazole are mainly as follows:
1. Chlorinate trifluoroacetic acid or sodium fluoride is reacted with imidazole to obtain the target product.
2. Trifluoroacetic anhydride is reacted with imidazole under acidic conditions to produce N-trifluoroacetylimidazole.
